Description
The Sinsui digital protractor (also known as an inclinometer, essentially a digital spirit level) provides angle readings through four sectors of 90 degrees with a resolution of 0.05° degrees. Now it's easy to measure angles relative to horizontal or any desired angle (floating zero). This is a great tool for setting up work in your milling machine or shaper and for general use by builders, engineers, technicians etc.
It has a beeper which sounds at level, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees. It beeps slow when nearing the angle and fast when it's bang on so you can set angles or balance those cupboards on your head and get them level without lookig at the display. The beeper can be set to any angle if you zero it at the angle you need.
The precision extruded aluminium frame with v-groove ensures it sits flat against any surface and easily locates on pipe and tube. The base magnets will hold it to ferrous materials. When used upside down the display automatically flips for easy reading.
ABSOLUTE MEASUREMENTS
Used to find the levality of surfaces as you normally would with a traditional spirit level. This mode is for checking roof slopes, picture hangings, fence posts, kitchen benches, roll cage angles, road cambers etc.
RELATIVE MEASUREMENTS
Set any angle as zero and from that reference point you can take relative measurements. For instance you may want a surface that is 25° degrees off the horizontal displayed as 00.0° so you can measure all other angles from that datum. Good for checking wheel alignment and drive shafts etc.
