Description
The Sinsui SY810 Angle Box is a mini digital protractor (inclinometer, or digital spirit level) that gives angle readings between in 4 sectors of 90 degrees +/- 180 degrees with a resolution of 0.1 degrees. Use it to accurately set cutting angles on your compound mitre saw, jointer, table saw, milling machine table, etc.
When switched on it displays absolute angles relative to level. To set a saw blade angle place it on the table and press CAL to zero. Now put it on the blade (the 3 base magnets will hold it there) and the angle will be shown relative to the table.
If you want to measure over a larger distance (say for window frames or leveling a caravan) just put on a straight edge and take a reading.
