Shipping And Collection
We use several companies in order to get you the best shipping rates. The one we choose to send your order depends on your delivery address, whether that is a PO Box, home address or Rural Delivery, we will choose the best option. Shipping is charged based on the weight of your order and delivery destination, see the table below for details.
When placing your order you will be asked to choose your shipping zone, use the maps below to select the correct one. e.g. if you live in Napier choose the GREEN zone delivery option at checkout. If you're not sure which zone you're in then give us a call.
DELIVERY TIMES
The target delivery is next day from when the goods are sent, but may take longer in rural or remote areas. While most orders are delivered promptly without incident, there are some occasions when the courier does not perform as expected. Once the package is in the hands of the courier it is out of our control.
For deliveries to the South Island the target delivery is 2-3 working days. Once again it may take longer for rural or remote areas.
Once your payment has been confirmed your goods are sent within 24 hours. At any time you may track the status of your order by logging in to our site and clicking 'Order Status'.
YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please ensure your address is full and correct, we accept no responsibility for delays or non-delivery where inaccurate addresses have been supplied.
If nobody is present to receive the package the courier will leave it in an appropriate place. If there is no safe place to leave it then a 'card to call' will be left. You may then collect it from the closest depot or arrange for re-delivery by calling the number on the card.
If you have special instructions for delivery (i.e. leave round the back of the house) then please note this in the comments field when placing your order.
COLLECTION
We're a fully online store and our strong preference is to send all orders by courier. We process orders as fast as we can and the courier service is quick and efficient. Collection is generally not possible because our stock is housed at various locations. We can occasionally make exceptions for large/heavy items but need a few days' notice, contact us to discuss.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We can send your order internationally to a range of popular countries. We can only send packages up to 2Kg, if your order is over this the checkout will show an error stating that no shipping option is available. We can send items heavier than 2Kg on a different service but the cost usually makes it unviable.
International orders are sent by NZ Post Economy Service with a 3-10 working days target delivery.
Prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are added to your order at the checkout.
We have some small items that qualify for free shipping when not combined with other items that have a shipping cost. These items are sent by normal airmail letter service. Delivery is normally 10 working days but can sometimes take a lot longer due to postal delivery workloads beyond our control.
