Description

If you've ever installed downlights, extractor fans or speakers, etc in ceiling Gib then you'll know what a b*tch of a job it is. The dust goes in your eyes, in your hair, and all over the Mrs holding the ladder.

Make the pain go away... This circle hole cutter has a bowl to catch all the dust (it's also known as a 'bowl cutter'). The spring pushes the bowl against the surface to make a good seal and the seal on the rim protects your paint-work. The bearing in the centre allows smooth and accurate cutting.

The twin-blade system allows much better balance, control, and safety than single-blade models which tend to rip, skip and jam.

The circle hole cutter can be used without the bowl if you have other projects where falling dust won't be a problem (i.e. making speaker boxes, plywood wheels for wooden toys, etc.).

NOTES
^ To obtain the maximum hole cutting diameter the blade holders need to be re-mounted on the crossbar so the blades are on the outside. If using the carbide-tipped blades they will also need to be flipped around so they are facing the right direction for cutting.
