This crane hoist runs from 12 volts DC so it's great for any application where mains power is not available. It's ideal for the back of the ute, truck or trailer, etc to load/unload your gear.

Do not confuse this with an ordinary 4WD recovery winch, this is a very different machine! This is a HOIST which is for LIFTING, a WINCH is for PULLING.

The differential brake holds the load when the up/down switch is released, making it fail-safe if power is lost. The maximum lifting capacity is achieved when the rope is doubled over with the included pulley hook. In a single rope configuration, the capacity is halved and the speed is doubled.
