Hi Grant,

A while back I bought a 'Probe Thermometer Digital Large Display HDT-1' on Trade Me Auction #84687665 and just thought I'd drop you a line about this unit.

This unit is bar none the best thermometer probe that I have ever used in 20 years in the Trade.

As the Head Chef in a Top Restaurant, I have used quite a few different styles & models of probe some of these cost in excess of $400:00 (more than 10 times this ones price) yet they weren't as easy to use, nor were they as accurate, or had the range of temperatures as this little beauty.

It just slips right into the pocket on my Chef Jacket and is quick, simple and effortless to use, no more dry or undercooked meat!

I'm quite happy if you wish to use this as a testimonial, as I don't recommend something if I wont use it!

Yours sincerely

Paul Hays,
Head Chef
Heartlanz Motor Inn

PLEASE NOTE - The display end of this thermometer should not be subjected to extremes of temperature or the unit will be damaged i.e. you cannot place the whole unit in the freezer to take a reading, it is best to keep a glass of non-freezing liquid (such as vodka) that a measurement can be taken from.
