The GCM 12 GDL does away with rails entirely, replacing them with the Axial Glide System, two hinged arms operating at right angles to each other with high quality sealed ball bearings that provide a frictionless glide that allows for cramped workshops or use on building sites where space is at a premium. Bosch claims that the glide system components will never need maintaining.
All controls for the mitre and bevel settings are located on the front of the machine. The GCM 12 GDL has and two extendable material supports that slide out from the base.
