Wow this is pretty cool. Say you've designed an awesome product but you need a protoype to show the world. You might spend a lot of time trying to make one up yourself, or you could send these guys your 3D CAD file and they'll make it with their 3D printer! It uses a Fused Deposition Modelling process, basically squirting tiny dots of plastic upon each other until an object is formed. The process is fast and cost effective and gives greater flexibility (than traditional CNC machining in the design of parts and assembled components.
