This 3-jaw chuck holds drills and accessories from 0.4mm to 3.4mm (shank size) so it makes changing accessories a lot quicker because you don't have to find the right collet size.
Generally once you have the chuck on your Dremel tool you won't go back to using collets.
To install simply remove the collet nut and collet and screw on the keyless chuck.
